A day in Harz

a ridiculous statue thingy that has to be photographed with
the highest point yet to be conquered
apparently a 'boy-band' cover link that we're trying out

This is my 3rd trip with my Scott, after having to overcome Deister for the past 2 weekends, this time it was Harz's turn. Located about 90km south-west of Hannover, it's a tourism place where mostly outdoor-adventure seekers go to, regardless in summer or in winter.

Deister oh Deister....why do i long for ur great slops, green trees, fresh air, and of course....hardcore trails....this time we ventured ourselves into something more than just a mediocre MTB ride, and that is to go INTO the woods, by accident ! we didn't even realised that some part of the journey we were really lost in the woods of Deister. oh well, the highway road was just about 2km down the hill, and we could practically hear the cars zooming past us, but nevertheless it was a challenge for us.

at last, after being here in great germany for the past 4 years, i finally got myself into this 'mountain bike' business...the mates in malaysia are gonna be thrilled, cause i finally succumed to the peer pressure of wanting to join the group

Deister is about 30km away from Hannover, just nearby my place of stay..and it rocks...having no really experience in climbing any mountain on a 2-wheel vehicle, it was really a pain in my legs, and the backache didn't help either...but it was a great experience, going out there and feel the fresh breeze and the green green trees around....
